Since we have passed the fulfillment deadline for this years Kickstarter project, we wanted to keep everyone informed of what is going on.

Production was delayed on a couple items; first of which was the inspection of our regular plating factory.  During the inspection, they had to close down so we sent the remaining coins that needed plating to a new factory which was out of town.

The next delay was caused by some (several thousand) Copper Coins being the wrong color which needed to be corrected.  That required more copper coins be made since double plating could affect the coins final definition of the image.


We are now nearing the end of that process and are now filling boxes with what we have on hand so when the final batch arrives from the plating factory, we can finish packing and place the coins on a ship.

Ocean freight can take 30 days to arrive once it leaves the port.  Once we get all of the inventory in hand, we will start shipping your orders as soon as we get everything off the pallets.

We apologies for the inconvenience these unforeseen delays have caused and appreciate your patients while we work through them.  We will have the shinnies in your hands before your know it!

Just a quick update to let everyone know the status of the coins. We have been informed that everything should be packed up and ready to go in about a week. Once the container is loaded and on the way to the ship, we will post more updates as things progress. We don’t want to inundate you with updates but things will begin to happen fairly quickly from here on out.

You will have a few more chances to update your address before we ship to you. The Unobtainium level items will be shipped via air freight to us soon for repackaging and then onto those backers.

We apologize for the delays that this project has experienced. We are taking steps to ensure that we don’t run into the same issue again if avoidable. We can guarantee that the next set (or 2) we release, you will NOT have to wait on. We can’t thank you enough for the amount of patience and support you have afforded us. We are doing all we can to ensure we live up to it.

The ship is now safely docked at the Port of Los Angeles and is unloading. Everything will soon be on a train to Georgia for customs clearance before being placed on a truck headed for Tennessee. We will keep you updated if there are any changes in schedule. The ETA is Feb 14 unless there is an issue with customs."
